FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves detecting receptors on the cell surface of all species of experimental animals and human cells by using morphologically differing hen erythrocytes fixed with 1.25% glutaric aldehyde during 20 min and sensibilized with a corresponding biologically active substance. Presence of homologous receptors on cell surfaces is detected from sensibilized label interaction with the cell surfaces. Lymphocyte-to-label interaction and corresponding erythrocyte population markers concurrent interaction are applied to detect cells possessing receptors for biologically active substances and to determine if cells are T or B lymphocytes.
