SUBSTANCE: device discriminating object against background of stars has receiving telescope 1, TV camera 2 mounted in focal plane of receiving telescope, on-line storage 8, unit 13 for calculation of amplitudes of videosignals coupled to matching unit 12, output TV unit 15, first 3, second 4 and third 5 comparators, first 6 and second 11 threshold units, unit 10 for optical spatial-frequency filtration, commutator 14, logic AND gate 9, logic OR gate. In addition unit 10 of optical spatial-frequency filtration has high-brightness tube 16, first lens 17, beam splitter 18, spatial-time light modulator 19, modulator 20, second lens 21, second TV camera 22, source 23 of coherent radiation optically coupled through beam splitter 18 to spatial-time light modulator 19. Input of high brightness tube 16 is connected to input of unit 10 for optical spatial frequency filtration which output is output of second TV camera 22.
