FIELD: passive methods for detection of aerospace objects against complex inhomogeneous background. SUBSTANCE: method includes registration of first, second and third images of object and background at various moments with the aid of telescope 1 and recording unit 2 realized, for example, in the form of transmitting TV camera. First, second and third images are memorized in units of buffer storage 3 manufactured on base of matrix charge-coupled device structures. Memorization is conducted by signal from commutation and synchronization unit 4. Then unit 5 of correlative processing carries out correlative comparison of fist and second recorded images forming their mutual correlation function and coordinated of maximum of its field are found. In similar manner unit 5 of correlative processing carries out correlative comparison of first and third recorded images forming coordinates of maximum of field of mutual correlative function of first and third images that are fed to unit 9 of control and computation for further processing. EFFECT: increased accuracy of detection of object under conditions of travelling background. 2 dwg
