FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: spatial magnetic core is spiral core made of coiled steel strip that has legs and yokes connected in star. Magnetic core is made of single coiled ribbon crosswise wound with respect to longitudinal axis of core and provided with windows and external jumpers. Width of intermediate jumpers in each layer of winding, in its compressed state, relative to axes of symmetry crossing sectional areas of legs to longitudinal axis forms desired section and provides for desired arrangement of legs. Upon coiling, magnetic core is compressed so that yokes are star-shaped in section. EFFECT: improved design. 4 dwg
