FIELD: converter engineering; power supply for electroflotocoagulators. SUBSTANCE: pulse-current supply has series circuit set up of storage capacitors, charging and discharging thyristors; method involves shaping and series supply of control pulses to thyristors. Signals setting minimum and maximum current in output circuit and delay interval are shaped, control pulses are shaped and passed to charging thyristor upon expiration of delay interval from off-moment of last discharging thyristor. Conductance interval is measured, second delay interval is shaped. Control pulse is shaped and applied to first discharging thyristor. Current of first discharging thyristor is measured. Signal enabling supply of control pulses to next discharging thyristors or inhibit signal is shaped. With enabling signal applied, third delay interval is shaped. Upon expiration of third delay interval, control pulse is passed to second discharging thyristor. Then control pulse is shaped and applied to every next discharging thyristor upon expiration of delay interval. EFFECT: improved reliability of power supply. 2 dwg
