FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method primarily used in thyristor converter control systems for output voltage regulation involves shaping and alternately feeding control pulses to thyristors that function to shape forward and backward current half-waves in load. In the action, time interval is set, thyristor voltage is measured, logic signal is shaped that assumes true value as soon as forward voltage is applied simultaneously to thyristors shaping forward and backward current half-waves in load. Time interval reading is enabled at true value of logic signal. Next control pulse is applied to thyristors upon expiration of preset time interval. Conducting time duration of thyristors and diode is measured. Time interval is varied as function of conducting time duration so that time interval is increased and decreased in proportion to conducting time duration. EFFECT: improved flatness of external; characteristic. 2 dwg
