FIELD: agriculture, plant growing. SUBSTANCE: equipment that contains a bed to germinate seeds upon hygroscopic material the ends of which are directed down into the channels of nutrient solution consists of at least one double-floor section where channels have constant level of nutrient solution being the guides to close or open trays filled with hygroscopic material serving as a bed both for seeds and roots of germinated plants. Moreover, some trays are completed with special covers with openings. Artificial lighting equipment is installed above every floor excluding those where seed germination is conducted. The former is connected up to power unit by a timer. To transport trays equipment is completed with wheeled container. EFFECT: higher quality and efficiency in plant germination upon nutrient solution under production-scale conditions. 3 cl, 4 dwg
