Abstract RU 2081846 C1

FIELD: inorganic chemistry, environmental control. SUBSTANCE: proposed composition comprises ion exchange material and magnetite. Ion exchange material is represented by natural mineral clinoptilolyte ground to particle size 0.05-0.25 mm. Magnetite used for composition is freshly precipitated and produced by mixing together divalent and trivalent iron salts in ratio 1: 2 in form of 2.7-3.1%-solution in alkali, 17-20%-solution of sodium hydroxide or concentrated ammonia are used as alkali. Moor salt is used as divalent iron salt. As result, sorptive material is produced which is easily separated by magnet from other components. Proposed composition can be used for producing inorganic ferromagnetic materials, magnetically controlled sorbents for purifying viscous and solid media (soils, sludge, etc.), for intensifying processes of purifying high-turbidity liquors and solutions from ionic impurities.
