FIELD: chemical technology, chemical industry, hydrometallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves consequently passing sea water through columns with natural clinoptilolyte and with carboxyl cathionite ( the latter being in Na+-form), desired product desorption, regenerating sorption materials and isolating solid salt products of regenerates. The former process takes place in stepped-counterflow scheme by displacing cathionite from column to column. Filtrate prepared by passing through clinoptilolyte is additionally passed through zeolite of type A, being modified with magnesium. Desired product desorption of zeolites and their regeneration are carried out with the help 2-3 N solution of NaCl. Desired product regeneration and desorption of cathionite are carried out from the last step of the column, solution of sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate at molar ratio 1: (0.3-0.5) being used.
