FIELD: water and sewage treatment practice, in particular, water purification from iron impurities. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises means for saturating water with air dissolved in liquid, said means being made in form of swirl chamber having nozzle adapted to swirl water flow and to form return flows in zone lying adjacent to apparatus axis. Nozzle has chamfered cut outlet, while inner cylindrical surface and inner axial-end walls are provided with ribs. Swirl chambers can be arranged in two alternative modes: either as two or more chambers arranged in row on common platform, thereby providing swirl in all chambers in one and same direction, or swirl chambers are arranged pair-wise in opposition to one another, whereby swirl produced by swirl chambers of each pair is directed in different directions.
