FIELD: plumbing fittings. SUBSTANCE: shut-off adjusting valve has housing with gate in form of two engageable ceramic disks, one of which is immovably secured in housing and other is mounted for turn through 90 deg relative to first one. Fixed ceramic disk is provided with two through ports and movable disk is provided with two recesses. Ports of fixed disk have form of segment and sections of recesses of movable disk are mating relative to ports of fixed disk; each recess may connect both ports of fixed disk when valve is in open state and may match connector between recesses with that between ports when valve is in closed position. Slotted washer secured in housing is used to limit turn of spindle. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
