FIELD: instrumentation. SUBSTANCE: invention can be to measure linear dimensions of articles in process of their machining. Gear measuring linear dimensions includes reference voltage generator, inductive pickup and registration unit. Reference voltage generator is manufactured in the form of generator 2 of rectangular pulses. Gear also includes unit of reactive elements forming resonance filter together with inductance of pickup. Filter is tunes to frequency of one of odd harmonics of reference voltage. Generator of rectangular pulses has additional antiphase output or (and) generator may have former of two, forward and inverter, pulse sequences of duty ratio 2. Gear may incorporate second unit of reactive elements, second instrument or compensation inductive pickup and adder. Registration unit includes phase sensitive detector which makes it possible to evaluate shift of phases of resulting signal under summary method of processing.
