FIELD: reusable lithium current supplies using electrolyte based on inogenic lithium salt in aprotic organic solvent. SUBSTANCE: method involves cathodic treatment of aluminium backing lithium-containing nonaqueous aprotic organic electrolyte at cathodic polarization potential of -2.9 V (relative to chlorsilver reference electrode); novelty is cathodic pre-treatment of aluminium backing in aqueous solution of transient-series metal salt, namely, zinc, cadmium, lead at potentials 0.07-0.11 V higher for zinc and 0.01-0.05 V, for cadmium and lead, as compared to equal potentials of respective metal separation.
