METHOD OF PRODUCING COMPOSITE MATERIALS FOR MOLDING EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

Abstract RU 2152872 C1

FIELD: technology of polymer composite materials. SUBSTANCE: method relates to technology of polymer composite materials in production of molding equipment designed for vacuum-autoclave molding of parts from reinforced plastics. Method allows application of proximate analysis of curing conditions of composite materials under production conditions to provide for flexible control of thermal curing and precise setting of time of its completion. Introduced additionally into binding agent VS0-200 is chlorine-copper complex. Binding agent components include epoxytriphenol resin, epoxydian resin, latent curing agent, dicyanodiamide, alcohol, acetone and chlorine-copper complex which are introduced in the following ratio, mas.pts: 50: 5.5:2.7:1.6(15±3.5):(25 ± 5.5):(0.05-0.5). Blank is heated under nondestructive electrophysical testing in vacuum autoclave conditions with continuous control over electrophysical parameters such as conductance and dielectric loss tangent up to establishing zero of the first derivative of these parameters in time by which completion of curing process is determined. In this case, heating up to temperature of maximum curing of 125 C is carried out at rate of 2.3-2.7 C/min to ensure absence of pores in material with holding at temperature of 125 C up to the end of thermal curing in autoclave and subsequent cooling down to room temperature. Binding agent is used in the form of improved VSO-200 binding agent. Curing time in autoclave is reduced by a factor of 3.2, molding conditions are simplified, labor input and power consumption are reduced, strength properties of produced plastics are improved and materials feature uniformity in bulk without layer separation and warping. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 tbl, 2 ex
