FIELD: devices which regulates reactive power of three-phase abrupt industrial loads, in particular, arc steel-melting furnaces using static thyristor compensators, which are connected to power supply lines through alternating-current thyristor gates with pulse-phase control unit. SUBSTANCE: device has feedback circuit, which is connected between current transformer in circuit of corresponding reactor and inverting input of adder, which output is connected to second input of second adder through integrator. Second adder is connected between input terminal of device and pulse-phase control unit of corresponding thyristor gate. Full-period rectifier is used as feedback circuit. Function generator is inserted between input terminal of device and direct input of first adder. Said generator provides correspondence between input signal to device and mean value of output current in corresponding scale.
