FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of formic acid with molecular chlorine or condensate with the latter. Formic acid or condensate is mixed with chlorine at ratio = 3:(0.5-1) and 5:(0.5-1), respectively, and the obtained mixtures were added at amount 0.4% and 0.6% of paste mass. Storage of paste preserved with a mixture of formic acid with chlorine or condensate with chlorine ensures to decrease the nutrient substances loss to 3.2% as compared with method without the indicated acids addition (6.1-7.5%). EFFECT: improved method of preserving, decreased loss of nutrient substances.
