FIELD: agriculture, in particular method for preserving of maize herbage.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes conserving agent introducing in maize herbage followed by layering and sealing. As conserving agent melamine salt of bis(methylol)phosphinic acid (melaphene) is used in dosage of 0.01-1.0 g per ton of silaging mass.
EFFECT: inexpensive convenient method for silage of maize herbage without losses of nutrients in preserved feed.
