FIELD: decorative treatment of surfaces, applicable in fabrication of magnetic stencils for decoration of glassware and other products by sandblasting and hydroabrasive treatment. SUBSTANCE: stencil consisting of magnetic template coated with a protective layer of abrasion- resistant material, is fabricated by superposition and fastening (for instance, cementation) of blanks of sheet of magnetic material (for instance, steel, and of a sheet of abrasion-resistant material / for instance, rubber), in which slots and/or holes corresponding to image to be reproduced with the aid of the given stencil are made by laser beam after fastening together of templates. EFFECT: simplified fabrication practice, enhanced rate and capacity of fabrication of stencils. 2 dwg
