FIELD: television screens. SUBSTANCE: reactor is filled with demineralized water, to which 0.05-2 g of Aerosil (silica powder) per 1 cu.dm water is added. The second reactor is filled with demineralized water at 90 C, to which europium-activated luminophor based on yttrium oxide and/or oxysulfide is added under stirring followed by addition of Aerosil suspension in amount 1 cu. dm per 1 kg of luminophor under stirring. Precipitate is filtered off and dried at 100-110 C. As a result, one achieves brightness of kinescopes 70-85 candles/sq.m, continuous coating with good adhesion, coverable mosaic elements with even edges, and high-density mosaic elements. EFFECT: improved characteristics of screen coating. 2 cl
