FIELD: road building materials. SUBSTANCE: open-hearth furnace dust is used as filling material in the compound for the automobile road base, and chloride of magnesium, or aluminium, or iron, or potassium, or sodium, or ammonium, or of their mixtures, natural or technogeneous ones and trade waste inclusive, is used as inorganic admixture at the following ratio of components, mass percent: ferrochromium slag, 5-15; granular blast-furnace slag, 0.5-10; open-hearth furnace dust, 10-20; chloride, 0.5-0.2; water, 4-5; ground, the balance. EFFECT: enhanced and uniform stability of roadbed, and hence, enhanced service life of automobile roads. 2 tbl
