FIELD: analytical chemistry; electrochemical methods of detection of silicon. SUBSTANCE: method can be used at enterprises of chemical industry for direct detection of silicon in solutions. Method consists in addition of 10.0-15.0 solution of sodium sulfate, methylethylketone, solutions of hydrochloric acid and ammonium molybdenum to analyzed sample and in volt-ampere detection of molybdenum-silicon heteropolyacid on carbon-paste electrode. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
