FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device has circuit of series-connected diode, fuse, limiting and ballast resistors with arc-proof output and negative voltage across-input, voltage regulator diode whose initial bias is ensured by additional supply voltage through fuse and resistor. Flow of voltage regulator diode current to measuring circuit is prevented under normal condition by using cut-off second diode connected in series with voltage regulator diode. Under emergency conditions without supply voltage polarity reversal, no-load voltage is limited voltage regulator diode and short-circuit current, by ballast resistor. Under emergency conditions with voltage polarity reversal, short-circuit current depends on sum of current of cut-off circuit diode and low forward current of second diode and can be reduced below inflammation current.
