FIELD: equipment for registering and recording consumption rate of fluids; spirometry; meters for gases and liquids. SUBSTANCE: proposed apparatus comprises body 1 in which extends through-going channel for through flow of fluids, impeller 6 and optical system. Impeller 6 blades are made flat and straight, while impeller 6 itself revolves together with shaft 5 which rests on bearings 4 disposed on partitions 2. Between partitions 2 are arranged radiator 8 on one side of impeller, and two photodetectors 9, 10 on other side of impeller so that each passing blade 7 shuts in turn passage for light beams either to one photodetector or to other alternately. EFFECT: simpler structure; additional possibility for determining flow direction of fluid being controlled, including opaque fluid. 3 dwg
