FIELD: rolling equipment. SUBSTANCE: working rolls are mounted in housing and they are kinematically connected one with another by means of gear wheels mounted on them. One of rolls is drive roll. Rolls rotate with different peripheral speed and they are provided with sliding friction drive designed for disengaging kinematic connection and for controlling difference of peripheral speed values. Rolls have different peripheral speed values due to use of gear wheels with different tooth number. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
