FIELD: mechanical engineering; load-lifting facilities; boom cranes with slewing platform. SUBSTANCE: slewing mechanism has drive motor coupled through clutch with sun gear of planetary gear train. The latter is engaged through planet pinions with three crown wheels two of which are rigidly connected with housing, and third one, arranged in between and mounted on sliding bearings on housing, is provided with external toothed rim for engagement with mating member of slewing platform. To provided orientation of planet pinions in space with preservation of center-to-center distance and floating state of planet pinions. the latter are installed to thrust against simple rings.
