FIELD: transport; mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: steering gear contains hydraulic motor at the shaft of which a carrier with single-crown star wheels engaged into mesh with two crown wheels the first being unmovable fixed in reduction gear casing, the second, running, is connected with output shaft or is made as a part of it. Running crown wheel is installed in one rolling bearing and one sleeve bearing with working movable surface of sleeve bearing being the outer surface of running crown wheel and immovable surface being inner surface of reduction gear casing. For the case of emergency switch-off of the main drive carrier has tooth rim that may be engaged into mesh with plug-pinion which in this case is installed into filler plug orifice and may be turned by wrench.
EFFECT: design simplification, enhancement of reliability and efficiency with decrease in dimensions and weight.
