FIELD: recovery of noble metals from alumina materials and production wastes, mainly, from exhausted catalysts based on alumina containing platinum. SUBSTANCE: the offered method includes mixing of initial material with alkali, sintering of mixture at temperature of 500-850 C, and produced cake is treated with water. Reaction of cake with water results in falling out of precipitate containing noble metal. Precipitate is separated from solution of aluminates and treated with acid to obtain nonsoluble compound containing noble metal with concentration up to 30%. Further treatment of the obtained compound results in producing of noble metal concentration to more than 80%. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 1 dwg
