FIELD: production of jersey fabric. SUBSTANCE: single jersey fabric is made from wool or part-wool yarn. Filling coefficient of jersey is 0.59-0.62 and is determined by formula: K = , where l is length of thread in loop, mm; T is linear density of yarn, tex; E is yarn shrinkage during finishing. Yarn has shrinkage filaments at following ratio: single-thread wool or part-wool yarn - 20-80% by weight; shrinkage filaments 80-20% by weight. EFFECT: improved quality of jersey fabric and wider operational capabilities.
