SUBSTANCE: single-layer derived ribs fabric has alternating rows of face side stitches and reverse side stitches, with rows of stitches being of derived weave. Stretches of face side stitches are positioned forward of reverse side stitches and stretches of reverse side stitches are positioned rearward of face side stitches. EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing manufacture of high-quality nonextensible ribs fabric. 2 dwg
