FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: mechanism is used for compaction and loosening of covering ground. Impact-action hydraulic mechanism has body with passages for fluid pressure, return, cocking, control and release; striker with piston, lower and upper rods and bore, differential valve with small and large stages installed in body. Body, striker and valve form together following chambers: cocking, working stroke, return, and control. Lower stage of valve has radial holes for pressure delivery and return of fluid which periodically connect working stroke chamber with hydraulic lines of pressure and return of fluid. End face of striker upper rod together with body form release chamber which is periodically connected with control chamber at negative pressure with striker in lower position.
