FIELD: chemical industry, metallurgy, optical chemistry, practical scientific studies. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to potentiometric method of analysis and control of concentration of ions in aqueous solutions. It is aimed at formation of composition of membrane of ion-selective electrode allowing range of determination of activity of perrhenate-ions to be enlarged to reduce value of lower detection level, to prolong usage of electrode in various media including concentrated solutions, to diminish ohmic resistance of membranes and to provide for capability of usage of electrode in flow analysis systems thanks to enhanced mechanical strength of electrode membrane. Composition of membrane of ion-selective electrode for determination of activity of ions includes electrode-active substance based on ion associate of perrhenate-ions with organic cations immobilized in polymer matrix of polyvinylchloride and organic plasticizer. Ion associate of perrhenate-ions with cations of tetrazolim is used as electrode-active substance, O-nitrophenyloctyl ester is used as plasticizer with following proportion of membrane components, per cent by weight: electrode-active substance 3.1-6.2; polyvinylchloride 35.9-37.5; O-nitrophenyloctyl ester 75.8-59.4.
