FIELD: ionometry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of ion-selective electrodes with membranes based on polymeric supramolecular systems. The present invention is intended for direct potentiometric determination of the content of uranyl ions in aqueous solutions in the chemical industry, hydrometallurgy, in the practice of scientific research in the field of chemistry, biology, medicine, etc. An ion-selective electrode membrane for the determination of uranyl ion is proposed, containing polyvinyl chloride as a polymer matrix, a plasticizer and an ionophore, characterized in that it additionally contains a lipophilic additive – sodium tetrakis(4-fluorophenyl)borate dihydrate, a phosphoryl-containing podand 1,3- bis(diphenylphosphoryl)-2-oxapropane, dibutyl phthalate as a plasticizer, with the following ratio of membrane components, wt.%: ionophore 1.0-3.0, lipophilic additive 0.5-2.0, plasticizer 65-71, polymer matrix 25-32.
EFFECT: increased selectivity of determination of uranyl ion in the presence of alkali and some alkaline earth cations, as well as improved detection limit of the UO22+ cation and expand the linear response of the electrode potential.
