FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of analytical chemistry and can be used for non-destructive testing and automatic control of the content of uranyl ions in aqueous solutions. Proposed is a membrane of ion-selective electrode for the determination of uranyl ion containing polyvinyl chloride as a polymer matrix, tris(2-ethylhexyl)phosphate as a plasticizer and ionophore, while as the ionophore used salt of cesium Cs B10H9S(C18H37)2, at a given ratio of membrane components.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of determining uranyl ions in the presence of alkali and alkaline earth elements as well as improving the detection limit of the UO22+cation.
