FEEDER-FEED MIXER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: feeder-feed mixer has hopper provided with discharge bottom window and made from current conductive material. Mixing augers are positioned at hopper side walls, discharge auger is positioned at hopper bottom and discharge conveyor is mounted below discharge window of hopper. Gate is mounted in discharge window of hopper. Hopper has positive electrodes, made from corrosion-resistant material and attached to inner surface of hopper adjacent to discharge window by means of insulating layers, and isolators mounted within openings in hopper bottom. Positive electrodes are connected by wires through isolators to positive pole of power source, whose negative electrode is connected through wires to hopper bottom. Electrically insulating layers have area exceeding that of positive electrodes. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 3 dwg
