FIELD: medical engineering; treatment of femur neck fractures. SUBSTANCE: proposed fixative comprises casing with inclined platforms, arcuate catches capable to contact inclined platforms, mechanism for spacing-apart and retracting arcuate catches, mechanism being mounted on casing. Fixative casing carries supporting washer. Fixable end of casing carries compensating spring, cantilever with swing limiter and with compression adjuster in form of nut. Latter carries circular scale indicating compressive force exerted by compensating spring. Nut is placed on end-face surface which is engageable by turning spanner. For this purpose, nut has recesses arranged along rim circle or it has openings on its end-face surface. Fixable end of casing is made threaded and has diameter that is greater than diameter of main part of casing. EFFECT: reliable fixation of broken femur neck. 8 cl, 7 dwg
