FIELD: water treating. SUBSTANCE: plant designed to produce high-quality drinking water including that suitable to butylation consists of three units. Pretreatment unit is made in the form of 1-4 sorption cartridge-type filters. Treatment unit is made in the form of sorption filter(s) with disposed therein, in direction of water displacement, layers of modified monoclinic-structure zeolite, granulated or fibrous carboxylic cation-exchanger, and carbon adsorbent, a part of which is in bactericide (silver) form. Finishing treatment unit consists of 1- 4 cartridge-type filters bearing microfiltration elements with pore size 0.5-10 mcm. Pretreatment unit can be charged with various sorbents to provide optimal indexes of water purity and plant resource in dependence on initial water quality parameters.
