FIELD: as active diluents and plasticizers of epoxy resins PVC material modifiers and as semi-products in manufacture of aliphatic ketimine epoxy resins hardeners. SUBSTANCE: epichlorohydrine in the presence of boron trifluoride is attached to poly(oxyalkylene)glycols, the resulting chlorohydrines are dehydrochlorinated with aqueous NaOH or KOH solution and glycidyl ethers are subsequently isolated. Isolation of glycidyl ethers is carried out by delamination of organic and aqueous salt phases where aqueous salt is saturated solution of metal chlorides (NaCl or KCl) at delamination temperature. Dehydrochlorination is carried out using solid NaOH or KOH and adding water prior to delamination of the phases, till solution of metal chlorides (NaCl or KCl) is formed at delamination temperature.
