DEVICE FOR HIGH-FREQUENCY DRYING OF TEXTILE MATERIALS IN PACKS UNDER VACUUM Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: dye-finishing equipment used in textile industry for yarn drying in spools by periodic method. SUBSTANCE: the device has a drying chamber with HF electrodes; placed between the electrodes are the pack holder rods with material packs; the pack holder divides the chamber interior into two isolated spaces. At vacuum treatment of one of the spaces the adjacent space gets connected with the atmosphere for an access of dry heated air. The formed pressure differential in the spaces initiates an additional circulation of supplied air through the material to the vacuum treatment space thereby intensifying the heat-exchange drying process. The device does not use any power-intensive heat-using equipment, high-pressure power-intensive blower, great number of stop valves and pipelines. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of drying process, reduced power intensity and specific amount of metal, enhanced quality of treated material. 2 cl, 1 dwg
