FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method consists in forming reel out of thread by means of winding yarn on perforated cartridges. Air is supplied into the cavity of the cartridge with continuous consumption and pressure of air is controlled. Winding is terminated, when there is achieved specified amount of air pressure in the cavity of the cartridge. The device consists of a slotted winding drum and a reel holder installed on a knock-off for securing of perforated cartridges. Cavity inside the cartridge is sealed and connected with a central air duct and with one of inlets of differential sensor of pressure, the second inlet of which communicates with atmosphere. The outlet of pressure sensor is connected with an actuator of knock-off lifting.
EFFECT: forming reels with specified value of hydraulic resistance without additional labour cost for quality control.
