FIELD: road-building machines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road-building machines and is intended for compacting road surfaces, foundations and soil. The vibrating drum of the road roller includes a drum, a rotary frame mounted on bearings, a travel motor, a hydraulic motor of a rotary frame rigidly fixed to the roller frame and a hydraulic motor of unbalanced shafts connected by means of a gear coupling to a drive shaft mounted inside the trunnions on bearings. Unbalanced shafts of directional vibrations, mounted by means of bearings on a rotary frame with the possibility of rotation in the opposite direction and offset from the axis of rotation of the drum at equal distances in diametrically opposite directions. The drum is mounted on one side on the trunnion by means of a bearing, and on the other side on the roller frame by means of a planetary gearbox connected to a travel motor. Oscillating unbalance shafts are mounted in the roll baffles by means of bearings with the ability to rotate in the same direction, and the axes of rotation of the shafts are displaced from the axis of rotation of the roll by equal distances in diametrically opposite directions. The drive shaft is kinematically connected to the oscillating unbalanced shafts by means of a toothed belt drive, and to the unbalanced shafts of directional vibrations - by means of a bevel gearbox, while the gear ratios of the bevel gearbox and toothed belt drive are equal to 1. The hydraulic motor of the swing frame is connected to the swing frame by means of a gear drive.

EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the process of compaction of the road surface with a roller drum due to the possibility of changing the direction of the vector of the driving force from horizontal to vertical with simultaneous oscillatory action of the roller on the compacted material.
