FIELD: removing atomic power stations from operation. SUBSTANCE: this relates to atomic power stations which served their operating life and which are situated on shore zones of seas or other water basins having appropriate waterway of required depth to go out to ocean. Problem in this case is to minimize radiation dose to which personnel is subjected when performing work relating to removing atomic power station from operation, and to return sites of removed atomic power stations to their initial condition at shortest possible periods. For this purpose, entire reactor department together with all its construction and technological equipment is taken from its location site and by floating method with the help of load-carrying pontoons connected to it is moved by water to place of permanent location and burial. Reactor department together with pontoons connected to it are sunk by being flooded with water to calculated degree so as to permit further floating-up of pontoons. EFFECT: high efficiency. 8 cl, 5 dwg
