PROCESS OF ERECTION OF LARGE-BLOCK STRUCTURE IN COASTAL ZONE OF WATER BASIN AND FLOATING COMPLEX FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF PROCESS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with erection of large-block structures in coastal zones of water basins with use of floating transportation of large-size blocks-modules for such structures, predominantly, with construction of atomic power stations. Process provides for construction of dock with locks and erection of foundation in dry dock. Then dock with locks is connected with water basin and is filled with water to level above foundation surface with due account of draft of floating complex. Finished assembled block-module is shipped from manufacturing factory along canal filled with water by floating in mix of pontoon floating complex and is erected with the aid of floating complex on foundation. After this pontoons of floating complex are separated from block-module and are shipped back to manufacturing factory for repeat employment. Later dock with locks is freed from water and erection of structure is completed in dry dock. Pontoon floating complex is vessel which central part is formed by shipped block-module and which bow and stern parts are pontoons. Pontoons are fitted with supporting protrusions which are brought into openings made in block-module and are tied up by reinforcing wire bunches passing through holes of block-module. Protrusions on pontoons can be hollow and have holes in face walls uniaxial with through holes in block- module. Pontoons can be equipped with buttresses and block-module can be provided with at least one embracing reinforced concrete belt to rest against buttresses. This approach makes it feasible to provide for possibility of floating shipment, assembly and disassembly of large-size construction block-module, predominantly block-module of reactor room of coastal atomic power station, when erected structure is located on land, it ensures possibility for dismantling and return of worked out block-module of reactor room with its replacement with new block-module.
