HYDRAULIC PACKER Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas industry. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic packer is used in isolating annual space between pump-compressor tube string and production tube string at performing technological operations. Packer has hollow barrel with adapter. Mounted on barrel is cylinder which forms annual chamber with barrel. Chamber is hydraulically connected with barrel hollow. Mounted on barrel is seal having tapered surface. Packer is provided with slide member with lock for fixing it in working position, and taper surface which is used for cooperation with similar surface of seal. Barrel has circular protrusion, and lock for fixing slide member in working position is made with collar grip for interaction with circular protrusion which is located between seal and barrel. Slide member by means of its taper surface can expand out seal. EFFECT: high efficiency. 1 dwg
