FIELD: formation of explosive charges from separate components at opencast mining by the method of deep-hole explosions in mining industry. SUBSTANCE: a hose charge, 105 mm in diameter, attached to which is an intermediate detonator with a detonating cord, is lowered in a deep-hole, for instance 250 mm in diameter. The hose charge consists of granular ammonium nitrate, whose intergranular cavity is filled with diesel fuel (5.5 to 6.0% of the volume of the deep-hole charge). After placement of the hose charge the deep-hole is filled with granular ammonium nitrate to the design level. At a blast the explosive energy is used as mush as possible, since the oxygen balance approaches to zero. EFFECT: enhanced explosion efficiency. 1 dwg
