FIELD: cryobiology, biology and cattle-breeding. SUBSTANCE: device includes air-tight chamber which upper and lower bases have holes intended for illuminator and microscope correspondingly, heat exchanger with branch pipes to feed and discharge cooling agent and slide made from material with high thermal conductivity. It also has cover and bottom. Air-tight chamber is made fast to preparation carrier of microscope and is mounted for movement over upper surface of microscope table. Surfaces of upper and lower bases of air-tight chamber and surfaces of bottom and cover are flat with finishing treatment to degree of optical contact. Cover and bottom are made from transparent material, optical glasses are put on illuminator and objective lens of microscope for vertical movement along axis of microscope and are spring-loaded. Branch pipe of flexible material for insertion of tools is installed in cover. EFFECT: improved handling convenience. 1 dwg
