FIELD: science research in biology, biophysics, medicine, physiology to study effects of medicinal preparations and biologically active substances on individual cells. SUBSTANCE: chamber incorporates body fitted with space to collect liquid with protective transparent bottom and cell placed on body. The latter has protrusion, vessels with passages to feed and remove physiological solution, upper and lower glasses anchored on protrusion and forming capillary space for positioning of biological object. Chamber is equipped with bimorphous flexible piezoelement and capsule to supply examined solution into zone of location of biological object mounted on it for movement. Lower glass of cell is put on protective transparent bottom of space for collection of liquid to form optical contact. Chamber for electrophysical investigation of biological objects has small interval of time resolution and its design makes it feasible to use present-day inverted-stage microscopes which creates capability to conduct investigations on small biological objects, for instance, on receptor cells. EFFECT: capability to investigate small biological objects. 1 dwg
