FIELD: optical radars. SUBSTANCE: device has pulse laser, generator for transmission and generator for receiving and reflected laser beam, photodetector, scanning and computing units. Novel feature of device is shared optical-mechanical switch which has single optical circuit through which optical axis of scanning unit runs. Scanning unit is designed as Galilean telescope in which flat-parallel plate is mounted for rotation and movement with respect to its optical axis in converging optical beams. Photodetector is mounted on housing of switch, which has shutter. Laser provides possibility to tune divergence of pulse beam. This results in possibility to design small-size system which may be tuned to a priori ranging tasks due to combination of space scanning and control of divergence of laser pulse beams depending on distance and movement of traced object. EFFECT: increased sensitivity for fixed area of output beam of device, increased functional capabilities. 6 dwg
