FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to disconnect single-phase or interphase contact to ground. For simplification of design, provision for forced suppression of thyristors of shunting groups and improvement of speed of disconnection of interphase contacts to ground device is additionally inserted with automatic current interrupter through which shunting groups which number corresponds to number of phases composed of two thyristors are connected to ground. Two commutating capacitors charged to positive and negative potential with reference to common point by two groups of commutating thyristors and control units are inserted for suppression of thyristors of automatic current interrupter in case of interphase contacts. Suppression of thyristors of automatic current interrupter is enhanced owing to artificial commutation. EFFECT: enhanced functional reliability of device. 4 cl, 3 dwg
