FIELD: electrical engineering; inductor machines that may be used as motors, generators, or electromagnetic couplings. SUBSTANCE: electrical machine has winding of coils 1 wound on salient toothed poles 2 of magnetic core 3. Cylindrical frame 8 is mounted in bore of magnetic core 3 and toothed rotor 4 is arranged coaxially to it. According to invention, cylinder 8 is thin-walled structure made of magnetic material and its geometry is similar to that of salient-pole magnetic core 3 at contact point over entire thickness of thin-walled cylinder 8 within length of active part 6 of toothed rotor 4 and salient-pole magnetic core 3. EFFECT: improved mass and size characteristics at rather high power characteristics. 4 cl, 2 dwg
