FIELD: electric machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: inductor electric machine has toothed stator with number zp of poles and m-phase bobbin winding, inert ferromagnetic rotor and converter. Semi-phases of m-phase winding are put on poles of stator. In correspondence with invention machine is inserted with two semiconductor elements connected in aiding with formation of midpoint between them and two unlike poles. Converter includes excitation circuit supply module and armature circuit supply module. Ends of each semi-phase of m- phase winding of stator are connected to unlike poles of semiconductor elements, starts of semi-phases and midpoint between semiconductor elements are connected to armature circuit supply module and unlike poles of semiconductor elements are linked to excitation circuit supply module with provision for flow of excitation current in semi-phases of m-phase winding of stator and of summary current of semi-phases of armature through midpoint. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of employment of space of inductor electric machine during operation both with constant and variable rotational speed. 4 dwg
